In such a situation, Police Commissioner Mutha Ashok Jain along with his subordinates performed Jalabhishek after reaching Baba’s court on Thursday afternoon. After this, he also did on-site inspection of Markandeya Mahadev Ghat, Sangam Ghat, Rain Basera and two-day fair. He instructed the subordinates that there should not be any kind of inconvenience to the devotees of Shiva who perform Jalabhishek. Extensive arrangements should be made for this. Police should be stationed at every point. Due to the clear weather, it is estimated that 4-5 lakh people will perform Jalabhishek here on Mahashivratri. Temple priests Munna Giri, Lalu Giri etc. were present on this occasion.
