In view of the busiest passenger traffic at Charbagh railway station and in view of the smooth movement of vehicles coming and going on a daily basis, the system of integrated parking has been started at the station by strengthening the parking system of vehicles. At the Charbagh station of Northern Railway Lucknow division, if any passenger and his family members reach the circulating area there via vehicle, then he/she will have to pick and drop off the concerned passenger and leave the place within 10 minutes, otherwise, he/she will have to pay a double fine.
Yes, the station management has made arrangements for some such state-of-the-art pick-and-drop in the Charbagh station area from Thursday. Which was inaugurated by Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak on Thursday. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak deducted the parking fee of his car before entering the station area and then said that the said arrangement would provide a lot of relief to the passengers in the Charbagh station area. Station manager Ashish Singh said that under the integrated parking system, electronic barriers have been installed at the main entry and exit of Charbagh.
Any vehicle that enters the railway premises will get an electronic slip near the barrier itself, in which the number of the vehicle and the time of arrival will be recorded and accordingly the prescribed fee will be charged. Free-time facilities will not be provided for commercial vehicles. It will be mandatory for such vehicle drivers to pay an entry fee of Rs 20 for the token issued at the time of entry and it will be valid for 30 minutes.
A separate place will be reserved for auto and taxi vehicles registered with the Railways as before and these vehicle drivers will be issued a token of Rs 20 while going out of the station premises. 05 points have been made for the entry of vehicles in the station area, which include Rickshaw Gali, Reservation Gali, Opposite North Eastern Railway, Near Mandir, and Cab-Way in front of Aarakshan Bhavan. During this, Deputy CM Brajesh PathakAdditional Divisional Railway Manager Jayant Chaudhary, Virendra Singh Yadav, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rekha Sharma, and other station personnel were present.
