CISF and local police launches intensive investigation campaign
Varanasi| There is alert all around the city on the occasion of Republic Day. Police is running an intensive checking campaign at the airport, railway station and bus station to tighten the security system. In this sequence, on Wednesday, the Central Industrial Security Force and the local police took stock of the concrete arrangements for the security of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport located in Babatpur.
In view of Republic Day, a full high alert has been issued at the airport. In such a situation, in view of the security, a thorough investigation was done by the security personnel along with the dog squad in the entire airport premises including the terminal building. The bomb disposal squad, vehicles came and stood in the campus for investigation. Whereas the passengers entering the terminal building were also made to board after passing through a seven-level security cordon in terms of security.
