PV Sindhu start’s the game aggressively with power smashes to take first game win of 21-16. She looked composed and calm to win the second game and earn four points. But home favorite Chen Yufei showed resilience. Backed by crowd she take the game in her side and eventually won it by 22-20.
In the final PV Sindhu, looked visibly exhausted and struggling with minor niggles. Struggled to maintain intensity and made errors that allowed Chen to capitalize the game. Chen won the close contest by 21-18 after an hour and 29 minutes.
